We haven't released a film yet. We're saying so on the homepage, because the companies worth backing early are the ones that tell you where they actually are.
01Mission
Indian independent cinema is not short of stories. It is short of money and screens.
Every year, writers and directors across India finish scripts that never get financed, and finished indie films tour a festival or two and then quietly disappear because no distributor will carry them. Meanwhile, extraordinary films from Malaysia, Thailand, Türkiye and across Asia never reach Indian audiences at all — not because there is no appetite, but because there is nobody here to bring them.
Neurodrama exists to work on both ends of that problem: put money behind independent filmmakers in India, and put independent films — Indian and Asian — in front of the audiences that would love them.
We believe in indie cinema. Not as a category to dabble in — as the entire reason this company exists.
We are new, and we say so everywhere on this page. There is no back catalogue here and no festival run to point at. Starting a film company in public with nothing released yet is either reckless or honest; we would rather be honest, and be judged on what we back first.

You have a finished film and no way into the Indian market. We take it out — theatrical partners, streaming platforms and direct-to-audience releases — across Indian languages and regions rather than one metro at a time.
Asian Cinema Gateway
For studios outside India
Malaysian, Thai, Turkish, Indonesian, Korean and Japanese films rarely get an Indian release, and it is almost never for lack of an audience. We are the partner on the ground: acquisition, localisation and release inside India.
“Open” means we are reading submissions and taking meetings for it today. It does not mean we have released anything yet — we haven't, and we will not pretend otherwise.
03Asian Cinema Gateway
India is one of the largest film audiences on earth. Most Asian cinema never gets to meet it.
A Malaysian drama, a Thai horror, a Turkish character piece — films that would find a real audience in India routinely have no route in, because there is no partner here to acquire, localise and release them. Neurodrama is building that route. If you hold rights to an Asian independent film and want an Indian release, this is what we are for.
Territories we are actively building routes from, into India. The list is a statement of focus, not a list of signed deals — if your country is not on it and your film belongs in front of an Indian audience, tell us anyway.

Does Neurodrama finance independent films in India?
That is what we are built to do. If you are an independent writer or director with a script and no way to fund it, financing and producing that film is the core of our work. We are a new company, so we are honest about scale: we are looking for a small number of projects to back properly rather than a large slate to option and shelve.
How do I submit my indie film for distribution in India?
Email us at hello@neurodrama.in with a synopsis, runtime, festival or release history, and a link to a screener. We work with independent studios and producers who have a finished film and no Indian distribution route.
We are a studio outside India. Can Neurodrama release our film in India?
Yes — this is the gateway side of the company. We focus on Asian cinema in particular: Malaysian, Thai, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean, Japanese and Iranian films that deserve an Indian audience but have no partner on the ground here. Get in touch with your title, rights position and available materials.
What kind of stories is Neurodrama looking for?
Independent stories with a point of view — the kind that struggle to find a home inside mainstream studio systems. We have no genre restriction and no language restriction. Regional Indian language cinema is explicitly welcome.
Has Neurodrama released any films yet?
No. Neurodrama was founded in 2026 and has not yet produced or distributed a film. We would rather say that plainly than imply a slate we do not have. What exists today is the company, the mandate and the intent to build both properly.
